Welcome

Why Dandelions - As anyone who has tried to eliminate these "weeds"  has discovered, they are very resilient. Their roots grow deep and wide. They transform from buds, to flowers, to seed heads and then scatter in the wind. Dandelions pop up again and again no matter how often they are cut down. My hope for anyone who is reading these words is that you will also pop up again and again despite the life events that may temporarily knock you down. If you're struggling with this, it's okay. Reach out for help and let yourself bloom.

ABOUT

IMG_20240602_163109_edited_edited.jpg

I am a graduate of Belmont University (B.A.) and the University of Tennessee - Knoville (M.S.S.W.). As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have had the privilege of assisting individuals to navigate through various life transitions and obstacles for over 20 years. I am dedicated to providing individual counseling services aimed at empowering my clients to overcome life's challenges while creating a safe and supportive space for personal growth and healing.

For the past 12 years, I have prioritized working with older adults and family caregivers as they experience change, loss, and family stress related to dementia and other aging-related illnesses. In addition, I work with individuals experiencing  anxiety and depression, grief and traumatic loss, compassion fatigue, and phase of life transitions.
